that DB meant "Define Byte". The Ride MA51 manual states (on page 37) that the DB directive is used to initialize Code memory with byte values. I note that your TEXTDB string has BINARY values. I don't know which Assembler you are using but this may be part of your problem.
After you assemble the program look at the listing generated to see how your assembler treated your DB list.
