Hmm, that sounds a bit odd. There would be no ground reference for any of the I/O going to/from your radio peripheral which might cause some damage.
The circuit Rob pointed you towards is along the lines of what one would generally use. What is this radio peripheral you are using? Does it not have any shutdown input you could use instead? Matt. |
