The code and the schematics are verified correct in the pdf file. Several have used them with no problems. I tested all code and triple checked all schematics.
If you have followed to the letter all the tests from the beginning to the end of the pdf document, it should be working. I see two possibilities. 1) MAX232 is dead, it should not be getting HOT! 2) Cable wiring, if all other wiring is as in the pdf. Jon |
