#14108 - Unusual behaviour |
can anyone explain this?
I was testing the SNR on the ADC on the CYGNAL C8051F000 and noticed that it tended to take a while to reach its max value. this only happened on some of the parts and i tried to eliminate board effects by leaving the equipment on for extended lengths of time. I had the board running 24/7 so i didnt think it was an issue there. however when i changed to a new part, the snr would go from about 53dB to about 64dB. I got sick of trying to find something wrong with the board so i built a brand new test board, exact same layout, component values etc.. Suddenly there was no problem and the parts started at the max SNR. I cant figure it, seems to be board related but i tried to eliminate that? |
