#141303 - clock frequency |
Hi Everyone...
We are working on a derivative 8052 chip and re-developing our own software. The chip has a 30MHz crystal and on the original software (which some code is only available in a library) we can toggle pins at 100ns or so. When we try our own code in a new project (using IAR compiler) we are toggling pins (SETB and CLR) at about 6us. I don't see any way to set internal R/C or external crystal in the IAR environment. I can't find any information on SFR's to set to change between external/internal clock, or clock divider etc. Anyone have info on this? Our IAR compiler is quite old too. Or, is something else wrong else-where? thanks! :-) Jeff |
