As Russel said,
If the modem is setup for verbose messages is will say 'ring' when an incoming call is detected.
http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=141328 and it will say, "CONNECT" when the connection is established, and "NO CARRIER" when the call drops. Or the corresponding numeric codes if you set it to Terse mode. I would certainly recommend Terse mode for programatic control! |
