The link below includes a stepper motor driver Schematic and a Graphical User Interface.

user enters some numbers between 0 to 60 through the GUI.
The GUI interprets entered value to some digitis and send them to MCU.
The 89c52 mcu generates clocks and directions and some others signals to L297.
the INH1 and INH2 outputs of L297 are active high but DIS input of HIP4082 is Active low.
so 7404 Inverter is used for joining this two sections.
But i preferred to use two spares more!!!
PLease let me know what you see wrong in this scheme!
