#141897 - Clear spec Responding to: ???'s previous message |
A clear spec is here:
http://www.ddwg.org/lib/dvi_10.pdf According to the spec, the data clock is between 22.5Mhz and 165Mhz! As for receiving this data stream, even a 100Mhz 8051 cpu won't have a chance, in fact most cpus I know of won't have a chance - you'll need a dedicated chip or a fpga. Then you've got the data rate needed to refresh a large rgb led array - most cpus are going to be pushed just doing this, so again, you'll most likely need a fpga. About the only thing a 8051 can do in this instance is load the code to the fpga. It's one of those problems that if you need to ask about it, then you shouldn't be doing it! |
