It works exactly the same as if the RPE bit is set to 1. The outputs are disabled, and the part restarts cycling when the input switch is opened.
The circuit controls two relays and a potentiometer is connected as per the AN10187 to adjust the timing delay. This only left 1 available input for the ON/OFF switch which pulls the P1.5 input to GND. Thanks Paul |
