Try using site search for my thread on PH measurement. TDS is just a measurement of conductivity. You need to use an AC technique to measure conductivity in aquaeus media, else you will get problems with polarisation (electrolysis)

PH probes are incredibly high impedance and need extremely careful signal conditioning. TDS is probably in up to 1 meg ohms
