that either the chip is not what it says it is, or the traces you see are dummies. For all practical purposes, I see it as a decoy chip used to defeat reverse engineering. Gets you thinking eh? If the traces are dummies, possibility of the board being multilayer are higher and the traces will definitely lead somewhere meaningful.
Unfortunately, since you did not post pictures of the product, I have to believe in my crystal ball's predictions. Jerson |
