Anyway ISP via RS232 is much more favorable. I'd go for such part if at all possible. I personally use an Atmel T89C51CC02 atm. It has onchip ADC and ISP via RS232 and CAN as well as a CAN Bus interface. I suggest using a proper reset circuit. My current design uses a MAX700 and sofar there were no real problems with the uC. All you need for the UART ISP is a standard MAX232 circuit. Make sure your part has the UART ISP bootloader flashed. |
