This effect might be even beneficial for the newbie - to cope with the current needed for full bright all on might be of some problem. I think it's clear this will be a first attempt and barely a superbright outdoor display...
And, while the cost might be similar, it might be a "logistic" problem to get the Allegro/Toshiba/SiTi chips at certain locations; while 74HC's appear to be quite readily available all around the globe nowadays. Other than this, full agreement... JW |
