... I even don't know what Cadstar is, I just wanted to refine your question for those who do know...
But, my experience is, that unless it is a widespread CAD (which it apparently is not) or it is extensively supported by the author of the software, or the manufacturer of chips, or a group of enthusiasts, you spend less time drawing the footprint and anything else needed for a library element than searching and asking for it on internet... On the other hand, if you are not in a hurry, it's maybe worth asking. JW PS. For the footprint alone, isn't it enough to pick some of the standard footprints? What is the package of the chip? |
