Probably the biggest problem with anything like this is getting any useful technical documentation on it.

It'll probably be hard enough just to get it to work with a PC (no doubt the drivers won't be quite right for your current system) before you can even think about reverse-engineering it.

So, unless you're skilled in the detective work of reverse-engineering obsolete, unsupported consumer products, and enjoy that challenge, it's probably a waste of $10.

For probably $20 or so you can buy a new, documented, supported PCB camera...
