If your analog signals are small signal then use relay in place of analog mux
I would not, but if you do, for small signals remember the EMF from the relay contacts. The 'standard' way to handle it is to use dual contacts like this:

if the 8 internal A/Ds are not enough, I would for consistency and simplicity do one of two
a) use two 936's connected by IIC
b) use a 16 channel A/D such as http://www.maxim-ic.com/quick_view2.cfm/qv_pk/3881
