Hello!
I have been using programmer from ATMEL's web site. It is the same as AVR's series programmer. I think you can simply find it at ATMEL's web site using keyword "SERIAL PROGRAMMING" or searching for "AvrProg.exe".
If you have problem to find it, send me an email, I can find it in my archive files, I think.
It is nearly the same as in Alfredo's post. It has been made using AVR controller, but at ATMEL's web site you can find source code, schematic (in Orcad SDT format), "avrprog.exe" file for PC computer and description.
