#148117 - Purpose of my question Responding to: ???'s previous message |
To all that have responded, thanks again :)
Russ, I love the idea of optimizing code further and further, it reminds me of (my) good ol' days when people made 4kb graphical and audio demos on the pc and amiga. I fully intend to go down the path of super geeky optimization too :) As for the whole thread and why did I pose the question in the first place - school project. I was designing a DC speed controller. Funny thing was I accidentally blew my voltage regulator about 10 minutes prior to leaving to school to hand it in. So I handed in a non working project but with a print out of the code, explanation of the hardware and what-not , I manage to scrape through some marks. Mind you, I'm far from finished with the project on a personal level, I want LCD output, keypad input, protection and all the bells and whistles :) Erik, thanks for the pointer, I'm going to try and source one now - I'm sure my work wont mind if I say its a umm r&d thing :P |
