#148791 - OTG mobile phone Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Lionel,
I have a Java midlet in my mobile phone that can receive data via the USB cable using UART. What is the device to which the USB side of the 'USB cable' connects? The mobile phone? Then, what is the type number of the mobile phone? And also the type number of the 'USB cable'? Recently, some mobile phones are equipped OTG (USB On-The-Go) host function, such as Nokia 8800 Arte. But the number is limited so far. The situation on PDAs is much better, but not all of new models have OTG host. I didn't yet search so much about mobile phone scene on OTG. As of PDA, the common built-in OTG host are HID and Mass storage. Unfortunately, I don't see any PDA which has CDC host. Tsuneo |
