I think, its hard to make sensors with it, since its not in the TO-92 case.
I like also the two wire for all sensors in parallel scheme of the DS18B20. Thus my software checks permanently, if a new sensor was detected. Then you can connect one sensor after the other. And then you can assign a test point number to any sensor depending frome the detection order. The test point number was stored in the 2 byte EEPROM of the sensor. Peter |
