The problem is state pretty clearly in the release notes you referenced. It's a bug in the compiler that was corrected in the November 2004 release. They don't list a work-around, so it appears that you need the update.
Which is really strange, since your 7.20 compiler is much newer than the one listed in the release notes. Follow Andy's advice, and give IAR tech support a call. Dennis |
