I have the cook book. As is clear there is no way of counting down. I will have to design a totally different scheme.
the typical use was T2. Many derivatives (e.g. SILabs) have a count up/count down bit for T2. BTW BEWARE the old stupid b=dir a=clock scheme will give you errors, you need full quadrature detect. ALSO: do not design to 'max frequency' I have seen 1MHz and higher pulses from a 2000 RPM encoder stopped at a balck/white border. BTW |
