#15150 - RE: Proximity Encoder (Wiegand Interface) |
First of all Weigand is generally used in the security industry. It is a protocol standard for transmission of data between swipe / insertion / rf keytag readers.
The data IIRC is sent as site code followed by key code and finally a check sum. What version of weigand is it ? Is it 26 or 32 bit ? Who is the manufacturer as some deviate from the standards. The INT0 and INT1 are the data outputs they are complimenty ie when one is high the other is low and vise a versa. The p1.0 is more than likely an output from the micro controller to drive the led on the proximity encoder <not sure as all the devices I have seen send data to a panel >. Regards, Kat. |
