Hi Sandy,
On some boards I see the crystal can on a ground plane and/or connected to the ground by direct soldering of the can or a soldered wire to ground. Sounds like you are doing this by holding the crystal. There are a lot of different crystals with different requirements for capacitance and drive levels. Are you sure that 33pf is correct for the specific crystal you have? |
