I went through all the topics discussed earlier on AT89ISP. One thing I did not noticed is about the parallel port modes of PC i.e. Normal, ECP and EPP modes. I think ( I may be wrong) 74HCxx cannot be used with the later modes. But It should work with earlier one. In the initial phase Atmel used 74HCxx and later changed the design to 74VHCxx. Fortunaely I found all the modes configurable on my motherboard(thr' bios setting ) . I am not reinventing the wheel but has anyone tried this ?
