#152031 - There's an echo in here Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Since we're repeating ourselves...
What does the code provided by Atmel attempt to do? I haven't looked myself and I really don't care since it is not relevant to your (apparent) notion that TWI/I2C/IIC specifies some kind of "memory address". Neither TWI or I2C specifies any slave device-specific "memory address". Not all TWI/I2C devices are "memory" devices. For one of the most simple examples, there are Philips/NXP I2C mux devices that take the byte immediately following the slave address as a mux command to select a bus connection -- no "memory address" for them, is there? |
