Guys,
Java was discussed here at some length a while ago: http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=13401 I just posted it FYI - you can make your own judgments as to whether or not Java is a Good Thing in general, or in your application, and whether this particular implementation is any good. As I understand it (never having used it), the Big Thing about Java is its platform-independence and Portability. These are generally not the Biggest Issues in embedded stuff. |
