#152295 - Peripheral Simulation Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Personally I would run the real circuit to test something like this. Two reasons...
First off the simulation of peripherals, no matter what they are, can only be as good as how much time and ambition the original programmer put into the effort to build the simulation model. Often these are a total piece of garbage. Secondly there are factors of a real time nature that a simulation can never cover. This is especially true for analogue peripherals. There can be many issues related to PC boards and electronics environment that can impact how your A/D converter will work. I suggest wheeling the scope cart up alongside the lab bench and debugging on your actual hardware instead of fighting something than may never work. Michael Karas |
