I have developed a product using C8051F040 having a CAN Bus interface.
I have developed the CAN Bus functionality using the SiLabs example given alongwith the development kit. It is working fine. But to convince the customer, I need some other third party tool to show it to my customer that the CAN bus functionality is working fine.

Like a Modbus testing tools (softwares) such as ModScan, ModView, etc. ..many free softwares are available on the net. All we need is a convertor(if needed) to be conected to the PC serial port and we can test the modbus functionality of a product using the free software testing tools from the net.

Is there a possibility to have some hardware to be connected to the PC and run the software so that we can test the functionality of the CAN bus? ... And yes...if it is easier on the pocket...it will be so much better.
