I am using 889c52 for my project:

Abstract:

The project is reading the threat length from a knitting machine.

Details:

In this project i am using two Hall Effect sensors for converting the threat in to pulse.
In two Hall Effect sensors one is moveable another one is stationary and magnet:

STATIONARY SENSOR:
It watches the rotation of the machine pulley .pulley diameter greater than 1 Meter.

COUNTER SENSOR:

It has a rotation wheel .While i put the handle on the moving threat the wheel of that handle part start rotate .From the wheel I counting the pulse using Hall Effect sensor:

Microcontroller:
The two sensors are connected to the IN0 and Timer0 respectively on controller through opto coupler .

Language: Asm

Complier: Keil

Working:
While machine rotating the second sensor count the pulse until single rotation complete.
Counting carried by counter technique
This process continues. for every rotation.

Problem:
In this for every successive rotation of drum the value is keep on changing. I can’t get any constant output. but the machine running I constant speed only.It’s real time application.

What is the problem? suggest me?i feel that coding part is ok i checked keil and machine also
