#153932 - internal/external memory in uPSD32xx Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Although the documentation is unclear in this respect indeed, and the public support by the ex-WSI group within ST is rather poor; I came across the same question a couple of years ago and concluded, that as the uPSDs are in fact literally glued together from a standard '51 and the PSD part, so I concluded that it should be safe to use the P2:Ri couple with movx @Ri. I was using it so ever since without any problems (uPSD3212).
However, it is rumored that it does not work in the uPSD33xx/34xxs, I can't confirm this - I don't use them. [edit](a quick glance into a uPSD33xx datasheet: indeed, it explicitly says that MOVX @Ri are not supported. This is NOT the case with uPSD32xx). JW |
