the "SFR space' is NOT RAM, it is registers.
Just THINK how would some address of a RAM (e.g. a0) make the conternts permanently available on a port. The SFRs are Memoty Mapped I/O and if you do Memory Mapped I/O as xdata you will have 'holes' as well. Erik |
