Hi Gauri;
As per my experience LCD takes around 150 to 200mA of current, If you are trying to dervive this from controller then it is wrong. No sooner you will be damaging the whole circuit. PLease see if you have connected pull up resistor to the port pins to which LCD is connected. If not please do it. Then see if are you deriving the voltage form controller. Please give regulator output of 5V to LCD directly. Never connect LCD to port pins directly without external pull up resistor. Even if it is connected to P0 add a extPull up resistor to each oprt pin with 10K resistor.. |
