there is always problem with the GPS receiver. Sometimes when u dont GPS for long time the flash inside the GPS gets erased. So when u connect the GPS then either u will get all parameters as 00000 or some junk. The correct data is got only after some time. Some times it might take hours to gether. It has quite a big flash. Cold start is when the GPS is used regularly and if u power off and power On it daily. But These problem also occur when the GPS is not initialised properly using AT commands. Please also check the required AT commands for your GPS. |
