#154513 - At89c52 port pin source
Dear people,

As I am new to this forum.I searched the forum but i couldn't find thread particular to my question.

I want to drive LED made 7 segment which uses 20 LEDs for each segment (7*20= 140 in total). There are three digits of LED (common anode, Multiplexed).
For this application, it is required that

-> I can get on/off all the digits with all/any segment.

--The board construction is 3 positive and 7 negative.
for all 3 positive(Anodes) I am using ULN2003A between 8051 port and LED board, so that brightness can be fair enough.
The outputs of ULN2003A is also pulled up with +12VDC.

--on the cathode side I am using BC328 Transistor. I will switch this transistor on/off for 12volt

-- Power supply is +12vDC and 7805 is being drived from same supply for 8051.

Will this technique work... or.

Regards,
R ASLAM
