I got caught in the "Never" mind set in one type of project. The serial communication had a time limit. main had 1 min to do 10 seconds worth of work. main end up calling several large case statements so it could keep jumping back to main to check for serial request flags .
Engineers get paid to engineer. Know and respect the rules. Only ignore them if you have looked at the pluses and minuses. |
