Thanks for your replies.
I remember an artikel in a electronics magazine, using a lot electronics to get it working. (if my memory serves me well).
I hoped a 8253 would do the trick.
But 800 uSec to write 400 pixes. Too little time.
I stick to newer devices
(This one I found cleaning up the attic)
