The rest of the story is I am using a 89LP4052 with it's ext osc fuse set to clock the AT89C4051. Had the signal tied to XTAL1 of the 4051 instead of XTAL2 (pin 5). Was probing with my scope and accidently touched pins 4 and 5 with my phat finger and the software started working, the port pins fired as programmed.
I wonder if that underwater basket weaving class is still available at the local college? I need a new vocation. |
