I have no idea why this PCA port 0^4 is behaving strangely, however I have put an external pullup on the underside of the board (so no one can see it) and this now works perfectly????
I would have thought that the internal pullups would have been sufficient especially considering that the other ports are all able to drive the L298 Successfully. I checked the datasheet of the L298 and it states that it only needs 100uA Max to drive the port. Anyway, immediate concern is resolved. I'll have to check on a few other boards, to see if it simply me stuffing (Blowing up) the internal pullup on the uC with all the playing around (testing) I have done. Regards Marshall |
