xdata is used for external memory. i am not using any external memory.
yes, you are, the RD2 has, get this "external memory internal to the chip". The origin of this is that for ages the only memory above 256 bytes on any '51 had to be external, then the chipmakers started putting dome inside the package, but it is still referred to as "external memory' Erik |
