#156359 - Hex files are bigger than the binary code Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Girish,
The HEX file will be a lot bigger than the code it represents in binary format - more than twice as big. Read up on Intel HEX format on the Internet and use a text editor or wordprocessor to see what the highest address is that is being programmed by the HEX file to see if it will fit into your target microprocessor. Cheers, Bert |
