#157089 - SBCMON and its assembler
Hi all,

I'm considering building my "copy" of SBC from this site (http://www.8052.com/sbc ) in order to take a grasp in 8052 family.
Before I do it, I'm interested in one detail - I believe that many users of this board constructed or purchased this SBC.

In manual (for example here http://www.8052.com/sbc/sbcmon/manual.phtml ) I read about "A" command, which should invoke small assebler. This is quite bare and incomplete describtion and in pdf form of manuals (http://www.8052.com/sbc/SBC.pdf ) it isn't much better. Could somebody bring more light into this field? I would like to know how to use this assembler, how to input assembly files and how large files it can handle, how are handled errors.
Or would it be better to build the board (or at least crippled version, I believe that MCU and serial circuitry would be actually enough) and try it?

Maybe I overlooked some document, in that case please point me to the right place.

Thanks for your time.

J.
