... or peripherals mapped to external memory (accessed by MOVX)? The 'Rx2 chips do have an internal XRAM, which is enabled by default, and MOVX to lower addresses (and MOVX @Rn generally) goes to that RAM rather than to the external buses.
Also, if you use the 6-clk mode, your timing might be off. JW |
