use a LPC, P89c66x, SILabs derivative (stay avay from the deviates (f3x-up)) they all have the standard IIC hardware engine and, in some cases with small modifications, the code genereated by CodeArchitect, free from http://www.esacademy.com , will run the thing.
Soft IIC is so processor intensive that many have fallen by the wayside. Having made several designs with soft IIC in the days before hardware IIC became readily available I say "NO MORE SOFT IIC", the choice is yours. Erik |
