Hi Bill,
this is not a problem of the compiler. All these functions need a file operating system. But typically no file oriented data storage device attached to an 8051. So why should Keil implement useless functions ? There are some 8051 derivates, which understand Intel-Hex directly and can write it into its own program memory, e.g. Dallas DS5000 (32kB nonvolatile SRAM), Atmel T89C51RD2 (64kB Flash) Peter |
