In a post in The SILabs forum I found "using hardware CRC Engine for CRC16/CRC32 of F410 or F930, that supports fixed polynomial for CRC"
Since I detest the SILabs deviates I am not very familiar with SILabs chips after f2xx and thus was a bit surprised to see this.
However this feature may be enough for someone to accept the challenge of using a SILabs deviate.
