Just look to MAX3222 datasheet. It have a two pair of transmiters and receivers. TTL port of microcontoler can drive two transmiters :)(small I) , and you will get two separate trasceivers from one MAX. I it very critical when length of connection line is long. Capacitance of two lines is > than one line :).
As reciver you can use cheaper MC1489 it very simply aplicable and need only +5V supply , any capacitors. |
