I seldom give turn-key solutions.

But don't assume that as bad answers. A school teacher doesn't give turn-key solutions either, but instead supplies the students with problems to solve.

If you plug in a turn-key solution and things doesn't work, you will not be able to figure out why it doesn't work. In fact, you will not even be able to figure out if the turn-key solution was applicable for your problem.

If you google you will find a number of different solutions. And for many of them, you will also find descriptions of what they do, and why.

If you do find two similar solutions but can't figure out which one to use, or what the reason is for the difference then you have an excellent - and very specific - question suitable for a forum.

If you look at the relay circuits from the faq page, you'll notice that they make use of two transistors. Most solutions you find with Google will only use one transistor. To understand what you are doing, you really need to understand the difference between one or two transistors. With Google, you might be able to figure it out on your own. If you fail to find the answer, people on this forum can help. But if the first thing you do is duplicate a circuit from the faq link, you will not understand what how your circuit works. But what use is it to build microprocessor projects if you don't understand how they work?

If the goal is a commercial product, then you must know how it works, so you can estimate hwo reliable it is and so that you can write a manual that clearly specifies the allowed limits for the product.

If the goal is to learn, then you must of course select a path that leads to learning.

If the goal is just to get a single unit to solve a specific problem - without need for learning or for mass-producing it - then you are normally better off by buying existing hardware and just adapt the software.

Maybe I was wrong, when I assumed that learning was part of your goal.
