#158147 - Why Are You Worried....
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Why are you worried about re-writing the normal 0000H and up area with code over and over again the debug and development process??

The quoted endurance of a SiLabs MCU such as the C8051F321, that I am working with right now, is is typically 100,000 cycles. If you started working on a really really really complicated algorithm that you debugged and downloaded code to the development board every 10 minutes and you worked 16 hours per day, 7 days a week, you would have up to nearly 3.5 years to get the algorithm perfected. I think after that time it would be reasonable to go back to the SiLabs web site and purchase another "TB" version of your development board.

Another thing is that if you start changing the code location every so often during this long long debug run I can assure you that you will take wrong turns and make mistakes that will eat up enough of your time to easy pay for additional "TB" versions of your development board simply due to the value of lost time and its value.

Lastly consider that you'll be looking to buy a new mouse at the end of all that, which if you are getting one of the better BlueTooth variety may very well cost you 1.5 to 2X the cost of the new "TB" version of your development board!!!
