Hello everybody,
Can anybody suggest if multi threading (or even threading)can be implemented in C for 8253? want to design a code that does different processes simultaneously. First of all whenever talking about an IC use the complete number, for instance in subject you said 89s8253 but in post you said only 8253. 8253 in my curriculum was a peripheral IC with 8085, used for timing related activity. Hence if someone reading only 8253 may get confused. Anyways, What actually are you looking for in multithreading, as another member Mr. Andy has said many activities can easily be done through simple loops or loops combined with interrupts. Hence it is very much important to know what you are actually looking for in order to help you in any kind. Regards, Mahesh |
